After finishing our family formal shots, we asked our entire bridal party to join us for one group shot.

I am so incredibly surprised that these shots all came out so well. Getting that many people to smile simultaneously seriously takes an act of God.

Since the boys already had a chance to get all GQ, we kicked them out so that our photographers could get some shots with me and my bridesmaids.

But first I needed a little fanning off…

I’m a naturally cold blooded person. I walk around our house in sweatpants and a sweatshirt in the peak of the summer. But on our wedding day, I was seriously sweated my butt off. I blame it on the 90 degree weather and the layers and layers of fabric.

Thankfully, the quick fanning from my girls (I owe you guys one) helped take the edge off so I could smile for our pictures.

We started off with some pretty standard shots.

But we couldn’t take ourselves that seriously for too long. We started off with a kind of fakey fake laugh.

But that quickly morphed into full on belly laughs. Thanks Jason and Cicely for the hilarious noises

Then, we added in some parasols for fun. When I ordered the parasol to make our flower girl parasol, I ended up with 9 extra parasols. I thought they would be perfect props for our bridesmaids and bride shots. I love how whimsical they look.

Then as quickly as our photo shoot began it was over. I could have been there all day with my girls. We seriously had a great time laughing and carrying on. There’s nothing better than being surrounded by some of your favorite girls. I just wished it could have lasted longer, but we had a reception waiting on us and it was time to make our big entrance.
