Engagement Pictures, Part 1

After picking Jason and Cicely to be our photographers, Mr. A and I immediately started discussing our engagement pictures (we’re very excitable people icon smile Engagement Pictures, Part 1 ).  We had some difficulty choosing between Old Town Alexandria and DC, but in the end we picked Old Town because it holds a lot of special memories for us, including the second proposal.  With the location picked, we talked with Jason and Cicely about timing, outfits and makeup (for me, not Mr. A icon smile Engagement Pictures, Part 1 ).  All of our hard work, which is pretty minimal in comparison to Jason and Cicely, totally paid off.  I’m beyond in love with our engagement pictures, all 121 of them.  We already have 6 of them hanging in our apartment.

And because I’m so obsessed with them and picking just one would be like picking a favorite child, I figured I could divvy them up between a couple posts based on the different locations.  Up first was an industrial location called Robinson Terminal Warehouse, where Jason and Cicely had spotted a great green wall that contrasted perfectly with the brick background.  But enough talking, I’ll bring on the pictures.

When Jason’s Iphone went off, it was time to move to the next location.  Jason and Cicely like to time each location so they don’t run out of light. Aren’t they cute !?!  We literally moved 15 feet away to a brick wall for more fun portraits.

So that concludes our first location. I promise the next few ones won’t have so many pictures. But I hope you enjoyed icon smile Engagement Pictures, Part 1
